You can question yourself and still be yourself. You can kill the old version of you while still being yourself at your core. Growing, doing some soul searching, working on yourself and healing doesn’t mean changing your whole identity. You can remain faithful to who you are, keep your spark and core identity. While getting rid of the parts of you that were created from ego, frustrations, your upbringing, trauma, and any other kinds of pain. The whole point of introspection is for you to improve, to love yourself even more, to adore and even amplify all you love about yourself even more. But to also discover your potential, the parts you weren’t even aware of. It’s a self discovery with your true self as foundation. Your core self, is what makes you, you. That’s what makes you unique. You can blend with others and still be yourself. You’re not meant to be a copy cat of what you think you should be or what people think you should be. You are special the way everyone is when they accept themselves and chose to improve themselves when necessary. So first love the parts of you that you like, release what doesn’t serve you and improve what you’re aware of.
